HALEY BOEHNING
Storyforge CEO Haley Boehning is passionate about helping leaders achieve the clarity and alignment necessary to get everyone – and everything – in their business on the same page, so they can have the impact they want.
She founded Storyforge in 2014, after decades of experience working with leaders of Fortune-500 companies, nonprofits and start-ups to create alignment and engagement through story. But it was her 16-year career in the corporate world that gave her the opportunity to witness first-hand the disparity in long-term results, engagement and impact that occurs when business leaders and their stakeholders are on different pages about the things that truly matter.
Since then, she has worked with hundreds of ambitious and impact-driven leaders to close these gaps, align their teams behind a clear vision, purpose and mission and get meaningful results.
Haley is a founding board member of Conscious Capitalism Columbus, and has served on Conscious Capitalism Inc.’s Community Advisory Council and Chapter Task Force, where she helped redesign the international chapter model. She is a founding member of The Matriots, Ohio’s first multi-partisan PAC dedicated to electing more women to public office and a member and chapter sponsor of The National Association of Women Business Owners. Haley was named to Columbus CEO’s 2020 Future 50 list, recognizing her as a leader with the ideas, energy and heart to move the region forward in the critical decade ahead.
Haley studied at the Tisch School of the Arts, Playwrights Horizons and The American School in Switzerland (Lugano) before receiving her bachelor of arts cum laude from New York University’s Gallatin School.
When she’s not advocating for business as a force for good in the world – through her clients or community engagement – Haley can be found hand-washing her bright yellow 1972 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, running late to a yoga class or grinding a winch on a sailboat somewhere in the world.
In her role as Chief Strategy Officer for Storyforge, Amanda works with our clients on stakeholder research, strategy development and brand story creation, as well as supporting our CEO in business development and community engagement.
Having served in leadership positions across both public and private sectors – in business strategy, constituent services, operations and marketing – Amanda has seen first-hand the impact and the passion of purpose driven leaders. Creating influence, engagement and marketing strategies for businesses, nonprofits and districts with audiences of 25,000 to those topping 700,000 shaped her belief that all organizations regardless of size or revenue source have the potential to make a difference in the lives of their stakeholders and the communities they serve.
Prior to joining Storyforge, Amanda served as Chief Market Officer for Conscious Capitalism Inc., directing marketing, programming and public relations for the multi-million dollar nonprofit serving Fortune 5,000 C-suite leaders around the world.
Amanda is a graduate of Boston University's School of Management and a 2020 graduate of the Stagen Leadership Academy. She is certified by the Jane Goodall Institute Roots and Shoots Compassionate Educator Certificate.
When not working with Storyforge clients, Amanda, her husband Geoff and two children operate Moonshot Farms, a forever farm in Central Ohio that reimagines the lives of traditionally farmed animals in our ecosystem by creating interactive educational experiences for the community while providing lifelong care to their residents.
